Montreal Student Triple Crown
The Montreal Student Triple Crown is a trophy given to the student team that has accumulated the most points over the selected competitions. The team with the most accumulated points are that year’s Montreal student division champions!

Université de Montréal Dragon Boat Sports Club
Founded in 2023 by Alicia Nguy, Liam Nguyen, Geoffrey Wang, and Eric Wang, the University of Montreal Dragon Boat Sports Club brings together students passionate about teamwork and high-performance water sports. Officially affiliated with CEPSUM, the University of Montreal, and its affiliated schools, our club revives a tradition that disappeared a decade ago, reigniting the spirit of dragon boat racing on campus.
Open to paddlers of all levels, our mission is to promote teamwork, perseverance, and athletic excellence through training and competition. Whether you‘re a beginner or an experienced athlete, join us to paddle together, push our limits, and create unforgettable memories on the water!
McGill Dragon Boat Z
Established in the fall of 2008, McGill Dragon Boat Z is a student-run dragon boat team at McGill University that welcomes paddlers of all skill levels, from novices to experienced athletes. The team trains weekly indoors at a paddling pool during the fall and winter semesters and transitions to outdoor practices starting in May to prepare for competitions.
They compete against post-secondary schools from Montreal and Ontario, as well as various community teams within Quebec. Affiliated with 22Dragons, a prominent dragon boat organization in Montreal, DBZ emphasizes improving members‘ fitness, strengthening team spirit, and creating memorable experiences on the water.
Descendants of the Dragon
Founded in 2004 as a subsection of the Marianopolis Chinese Student Association (MCSA), the Marianopolis Dragon Boat Club later became an independent, student-run organization. Over the years, Descendants of Dragon has built a strong community of experienced coaches, dedicated captains, and paddlers of all levels, from beginners to veterans.
Our mission is to provide paddlers with a fun and challenging environment for personal growth while fostering lasting memories with teammates. As a competitive college sports club, we welcome thrill-seekers and curious individuals to join our journey through organized circuit training, indoor pool paddling, and, of course, outdoor dragon boat practices and racing!
